Description of the book

In Will They Grow Back by Monday?, new children’s author Josephine R. Bay describes what it is like for a little girl suffering her first bad hair day. Illustrated by Jeanette A. Spencer, this book offers hair-brained fun for the whole gang. Who hasn’t wanted to snip, snip, snip a stray wisp or two on a particularly bad hair day? The fact is Becky’s mane issue has been bugging her all day. She can’t do a thing with her hair. Her locks are loopy and wild; all she wants to do is tie them back and keep them out of her face. She’d use a paperclip or a hairnet if she could and, quite frankly, this isn’t the first time her unruly curls have set her back. So the following day, she makes a plan, which seems like a really, really good idea at the time, but all too soon proves to be a short, short, shortsighted strategy.

When Mom and Dad are in sync, the likelihood is that their offspring will respond well to expectations and loving discipline. Book Signing

I will be doing a book signing at Chapters on Whyte Ave in Edmonton May 8th 1-3pm. Chapters 170th street Edm, 3-5 pm with the Author Josephine R Bay. On May 15th I will be doing a book signing alone at Chapters in West Edmonton Mall 1-4 pm. Tell your friends and we'll see you there.

80's child hairdresser

As far as I know, this sweet little girl was having a battle sleeping with long bangs in her face.So she got up and took care of the problem by chopping most of them off. I think Mom may have helped straighten them the next morning. Notice the brown widows peak underneath the blonde . This picture has got to beat all the rest. Top that!

Our book

Well folks I finally have a copy of the book. The Canadian site was a little slower to get the book out than the States, and I finally locked my eyes on the finished product. I feel bad for the courier delivery guys who get to drop off the packages. They do not care what you received, they just want to get on their way. Well I snatched the package and ran to the nearest counter to rip it open. It was better than a delivery of my $8.00 glasses that I order every so often. So buddy was quickly on his way cause I didn't waste time with the chit chat. It has not sunk in that we have a book. Jo had her copy months ago. Lucky Author chicky. Anyway, it's a good day even though I have 2 kids home yacking in bed from the flu. Yuck!
